Quiz Night at Llandybie Social Club
An enjoyable evening at our Quiz Night at Llandybie Social Club - some very difficult questions but the buffet was lovely! Congratulations to the winning team.
National Botanic Gardens
It was lovely to sing under the Dome at the National Botanic Gardens in Llanarthney on such a beautiful Autumn morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, as usual, and the visitors to the Food Fayre being held at the Gardens were a very appreciative audience.
St Matthias Church, Treharris with Treharris Male Choir
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the beautiful St. Matthias Church in Treharris - a
very warm welcome from all and a lovely concert with music from Persain and Treharris
Male Voice Choir, with a rousing "Hen Wlad fy'n Nhadau" to finish and a delicious
buffet meal afterwards.
Llandybie Social Club
A very enjoyable and entertaining evening at Llandybie Social Club in Campbell Road, Llandybie. The buffet was excellent and the quiz questions difficult, but the best team won! A lovely time was had by all and a total of over £400 was raised for choir funds for our forthcoming CD. This is the winning team.
Marie Curie Cancer Care Fundraiser
The Amman Centre, Ammanford
An excellent concert with a wonderful variety of songs and styles from our guests, Treharris Male Voice Choir and tenor Greg Arthur accompanied by pianist Rob Marshall, which were enthusiastically received by our audience. It was a very memorable evening, and £350 was raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Glanfa Stage, Wales Millennium Centre
We had a lovely reception in Cardiff. It was a pleasure to sing on the Glanfa Stage and to be beautifully accompanied by our wonderful pianist Catherine on a Steinway grand piano. We had a varied programme and our renditions of Big Spender, The Rose and The Rhythm of Life were particularly well received.
National Botanic GardensWhat a lovely way to celebrate Saint David's Day! A harpist greeted us in the foyer, the sun was shining, the daffodils and snowdrops were in bloom and the Great Glasshouse was packed. We enjoyed singing in this lovely venue, providing a programme of mainly Welsh songs for the occasion.
