COR PERSAIN ladies Choir is based in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire.
Persain is a Welsh word meaning 'pure sound'.
We have a varied repertoire, ranging from traditional Welsh songs to well loved musical theatre songs to classic songs.

To anyone interested in joining the choir, please give us a go. We are increasing in numbers every week with the emphasis placed on having fun through singing together.
There really is something for everyone! We are currently working on some musical theatre classics and some Shirley Bassey.
You will be most welcome even if you can't read a note of music - we are here to help and encourage you.
We have a brilliant rehearsal venue, great pianist, and many friends you have yet to meet.
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays evenings at Ammanford Miners' Theatre between 7pm and 9pm.
Musical experience or knowledge of reading music is not necessary. There are no auditions.
